Thank you for your patience, book-readers, coffee-lovers, music-fans, and art-patrons, during our extensive recent renovations! You'll find the end result to be well worth the wait! We are delighted to have reopened on Septemer 13th, 2009. Our staff are continuing to stock thousands of linear feet of bookshelves with over 100,000 used and rare books!
Our expert baristas are now brewing fair-trade coffees and teas, as well as classic Italian espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas, at our elegant coffee bar. We have fantastic changing exhibits in our Yellow Wall Gallery, and we offer a unique, intimate performance venue for acoustic musicians, including the best in new folk music.

Free "Coffee Cupping" at Noon! Join us on Friday, March 19th, and again Friday, April 16, for this monthly expert-led tasting-session. Learn to smell, slurp, sip, and savor like professional coffee traders. Featuring a diverse trio of freshly roasted, organic, direct-trade coffee beans, imported by Counter Culture Coffee.
Yellow Wall Gallery Receptions - Meet and greet our bookstore-cafe's currently-exhibiting artists on Third Fridays, 6-9 PM.
We have a great line-up of events this winter and spring, including weekly author talks and book signings every Saturday; regular Sunday afternoon book clubs; and ticketed performances by the best New Folk musicians and singer-songwriters.
We're also hosting an array of Candidate Nights' this primary season, for Central Pennsylvania residents to meet-and-greet local and state political candidates.
